We understand that entering a new workplace, particularly on a temporary placement, can be an intimidating experience. That is why we go out of our way to make you feel not just welcome, but fully-integrated into the firm, giving you a full induction to help you acclimatise.
As an intern you will be partnered with a dedicated mentor whose job it is to ensure your placement is enjoyable and challenging. During your time with us you will benefit from a basic bookkeeping course and exposure to other departments. Your mentor will chart your progress and provide regular feedback during informal appraisals.
As your placement unfolds, you will be able to discuss your experience with other interns on ‘open forum’ conference calls. This will be your opportunity to talk about any aspects of the placement you are finding especially challenging or rewarding. Importantly, you will never feel like you are on your own.
To recognise your contribution to the firm as an intern, we pay an hourly rate and compensate any appropriate expenses. You will also leave with a reference letter outlining the work undertaken and new skills acquired – a valuable addition to your CV.
We seek people with initiative; people who are collaborative teamworkers, natural communicators and able problem-solvers. Above all, we seek people who are motivated by providing the highest level of client service.
Applicants must be expecting a 2:1 degree in any discipline and have at least 300 UCAS points, or equivalent, gained at one sitting. Plus excellent GSCE results with a minimum grade B in English and Maths.
