Programme Overview:

Joining Moore Kingston Smith on a summer placement means you will gain experience working in audit and accounts for a variety of businesses across a range of sectors, which could include technology, charity, healthcare and renewable energy.

The majority of our summer placement students will have a generalist experience but we do have opportunities for those who have an interest in more specialist audit experience with our Corporate Client Services team who focus on large and complex clients and also our Non Profit team.

Our objective for the summer placement scheme is to provide undergraduates with hands-on, meaningful work experience and an opportunity to work with subject matter experts across the firm.

Right from the start you will be working with clients, getting to know their business and understanding their challenges. You will be encouraged to take responsibility early on and you will be exposed to all aspects of a job. Your experience will be varied; sometimes you will be working on projects lasting a few days, other times a few weeks.

What are we looking for?

These 8-week summer placements are for undergraduate students, looking to gain experience over the summer. We are looking for students who are interested in pursuing a career in accountancy, are adaptable, enjoy building relationships and are passionate about developing themselves.

In order to be eligible for this programme, you will also need:

• be completing an undergraduate degree in a related field and be on track for a 2:2 or above
• have 112 UCAS points from three A-levels (or equivalent)
• will be available to work from June 2023
• have permission to work in the UK by June 2023
