The performance of the Big Four – PwC, EY, KMPG and Deloitte – have increased the combined revenues of the Top 50 firms to £11 billion.
According to the survey conducted by Accountancy Age, the growth of these companies can be attributed to the work of the Big Four, whose efficiency has increased in the past year.
In compensation for this work, the Big Four firms have seen their fee income increase more than half a billion pounds to £8.35bn in 2013 from £7.73bn in 2012.
